18th Int. Congress welcome

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

 

The 18th IASL Congress will take place in the Political Science and Law University in Beijing, China, a country with a great tradition in the world, with great success in Sport and big culture through the centuries.

Last year the topic science of IASL Congress wasted orientating in the necessity of the establishment of an International Constitutional Charter of Sports as a legitimizing basis of the international Sports and Games.

The Organizing Committee of Beijing selected the science topic of the forthcoming Congress (10-11, Oct. 2012), which is the topic is: 

 

“Sports Law Structures, Sports Law Practice, Sports Law Justice and Sports Science and Studies”

 

The participants in this Congress will have the chance to attend many important sessions, as well as: Lex Sportiva - Lex Olympica and International Sports law, Legal problems in Amateur and professional sport, Sports Marketing, Management, Development and Organization of Events, Sports Jurisdictional Order  and  Sports Law science and sports studies in world. Also they will have chance to attend regarding special issues of Sports Law and in particular issues which concern not only the rules of Lex Sportiva/Lex Olympica but the topic on the international Sports Law and Sports law Studies, such as: Resolution of Sports Disputes and Mediation in Sports Disputes and also Sports Arbitration and Court Arbitration of Sport (CAS) and Applicable Law and Decisions’ Excitability in Sports Law.  Topics as is Establishment and Development of School Sports Legal System, Legal Sports Coach and trainers Education, Sports Lawyers Education, Post Graduate Studies in Sports Law and Methodology of Sports Law, have a great importance.

Distinguished lectures, Professors in Sports Law area of various Universities, Researchers of high prestige and people involved in international Sports and the Olympic Games will take part in the 18th IASL Congress in Beijing.

From world of IASL I am certain that the imminent Congress will be a challenge for a new horizon in research and development of Sports Law internationally. The excellent preparation of the Congress by the members both of the Scientific Committee in Beijing and Political Science and Law University guarantee the success of the Congress.

As the President of IASL, I would like to thank the Organizers for their valuable assistance.

It is certain that the IASL members and all the participants in the 18th IASL Congress will get many scientific information as well as living unforgettable moments from a scientific, social and cultural point of view.
